Since the beginning of League of Legends, many people have wanted an option to appear offline so people cannot see them in the menu or in game. Although there is no built in option to do this, there is a way to achieve practically the same result by using the built in CMD prompt on any Windows PC.
- In order to do this, you’ll first have to find and run Command Prompt as an Administrator.
- After this is done, it should open up Command Prompt. When this is done, go ahead and paste this code into cmd, “netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=”lolchat” dir=out remoteip=184.108.40.206 protocol=TCP action=block”
After this is done, press enter. This should disable the ability for you to connect to PVP.net’s chat, and will allow you to do whatever you’d like while not appearing online in the chat.
- When you want to go back online, paste this code back into CMD. “netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name=”lolchat” This will allow you to appear back online and people will be able to see you in chat.
